HopCount is a network diagnostic application for engineers, systems administrators, and developers who need a usable toolkit on a phone rather than a simplified one. It debugs connectivity, traces paths, inspects certificates, analyses routing, and monitors uptime, with results presented the way a terminal would print them rather than reduced to a status light. Verdicts account for distance, so a link measured across an ocean is assessed against what that path should look like rather than against a fixed threshold that would mark it degraded. The interface carries no advertising, no accounts, and no tracking.

How it is used
Enter a target and choose an operation. Diagnostics report latency, packet loss, jitter, and hop by hop analysis, and playbooks run the sequence appropriate to a common scenario rather than requiring each step to be issued individually. Monitors record results over time with scrollable historical graphs and survive a reboot, and session history is searchable so a previous run can be repeated when the question is whether something changed rather than what it currently is. Configuration, monitors, and history export as an encrypted file that restores on any device with the password.
